We take responsibility for what we do, which is why before starting cooperation with the manufacturer, we conducted a series of tests of its products in the Research Laboratory located in the main headquarters of the Tarnów branch. We tested the modules for quality, durability and efficiency of the equipment, as well as the parameters that the manufacturer specified in its technical sheets.     • Replacement of the outdated M6 technology by the manufacturer with the innovative and more efficient M10. The efficiency of photovoltaic panels depends largely on the size of the silicon wafer. As early as 2019, manufacturers started to switch from the M4 size to the newer M6 technology. However, the M6 size has now been changed to M10, which allows for increased module efficiency in lower light conditions compared to other available panels of similar power. By using M10 silicon substrates, we achieve an efficiency increase of about 22%, depending on the panel power.

    Photovoltaics is a technology based on the so-called photovoltaic effect, which enables the generation of electrical energy. It utilizes renewable energy sources, namely solar radiation. To understand how photovoltaics work, one must grasp the construction of photovoltaic installations and the principle behind their operation.

    Each photovoltaic module consists of interconnected photovoltaic cells. These cells are made of silicon, a material serving as a semiconductor. Sunlight reaching the cells consists of photons that collide with electrons, causing them to move. This process generates electrical energy.

    In order for the electrical energy generated by photovoltaic panels to power electrical devices, it is necessary to convert direct current into alternating current, which flows through outlets. This task is performed by another crucial component of the installation – the inverter. Without its operation, it would be impossible to harness free electrical energy.

It is estimated that the average cost of purchasing and installing photovoltaics ranges from 15,000 to 35,000 złoty.

    How to properly choose the power of photovoltaic panels?

    The selection of photovoltaic installation power should be based on annual electricity consumption. The power can be calculated considering the amount of bills – for every 50 PLN spent monthly on electricity, it is recommended to install 1 kW of photovoltaic panel power. If the bills average 300 PLN, the installation power should be determined at 6 kW.

    Where to install the photovoltaic system?

    The choice of installation location is crucial. Photovoltaic panels can be mounted either on the building’s roof or on the ground – this is the first decision to make. For high efficiency, PV panels should be installed in a well-sunlit area with no shading. The angle of the panels also matters, so consideration should be given to the roof’s inclination angle, as well as its orientation relative to the cardinal directions.
